SINCE 1925, THE METRO GROUP, INC. has been providing water treatment products and services for HVAC and process water systems. We provide a range of over 150 products sold under the brand names CorrodineTM, DubothTM, and VaporeneTM.
Our operating geography covers the Midwest, Southeast, and Eastern Seaboard from several strategic locations, including our headquarters in Long Island City, NY. We operate the largest fleet of service vehicles in the Metropolitan New York area and these same capabilities exist as unique competencies at our district office locations.
We maintain our manufacturing facility, plant, and laboratory in Long Island City, NY, with distribution from other optimal locales nationwide. All chemical programs are fully supported by both field and technical services personnel. Our resources are well-positioned within the markets we serve. Our people and products are local to you. We are also an approved New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) and New York City Housing Authority preferred vendor.

Wherever possible, programs are applied using our unique Drumless Delivery Service (DDS), where Metro remains fully responsible for the delivery of drums, application of chemicals, and disposal of drums used to transport chemicals to and from a client. This environmentally sound practice is integral to our commitment to environmental care. All treatments and programs meet or exceed appropriate regulatory guidelines in the states they are administered.
Within our programs, we offer a comprehensive range of service levels and water treatment supplies/products to meet residential, industrial and commercial needs: Full Service, Omniserve, Supervisory, Consulting, and "Specials". Our clients work in conjunction with account managers to determine which services are right for their systems. The Metro program is custom designed to provide the appropriate blend of manpower and consulting dependent upon your operations or maintenance needs.
